Venus and Jupiter (original artist unknown)

For this commission Dimitri was asked to reproduce an etching of 29 x 21cm to a much larger size of 3 x 2 m. The painting was completed in oil on wooden panels and the colours were chosen to compliment the characters in the painting and the colour scheme of the staircase it was commissioned for. The painting took three weeks to complete
